TELEDYNE BROWN ACHIEVES SEI-CMMI LEVEL 2

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (December 15, 2008) - Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. (TBE) today announced that the company’s Software Group successfully achieved a Software Engineering Institute, Capability Maturity Model Integration™ (CMMI) Level 2 assessment. The assessment team was led by A-1 Independent Consulting of Birmingham AL.

CMMI is a process improvement approach that is being adopted worldwide. CMMI will be applied to Teledyne Brown’s software processes to aid in planning, engineering, managing development and maintenance.
