Teledyne Brown Names Seabrook Vice President Business Development
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (March 1, 2007) - Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc. (TBE) announced today that Craig Seabrook has been promoted to vice president of Business Development. Seabrook has been acting in that role since last fall.
As vice president of business development, Seabrook will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships and overseeing the sales and marketing direction of the company.
Seabrook brings more than 12 years of business development experience to the position. He worked as the Director of Business Development at Marshall Space Flight Center and served as Director of business Development for Teledyne Brown's Systems Group.
"Craig has the expertise and the experience to guide Teledyne's growth," said Jim Link, president, Teledyne Brown Engineering. "His knowledge and leadership skills are a welcome addition to the company. Craig has earned the respect of his colleagues and department heads. I congratulate him on this well-earned promotion."
While in the Business Development Office at MSFC, Seabrook was charged with securing new work for Marshall, developing strategic plans, managing office resources and establishing partnerships between NASA and other Federal agencies, industry and academia.
As Director of Business Development for Teledyne Brown's Systems Group, Seabrook was responsible for all new business initiatives for the group, developed new business strategy, created teaming agreements, and provided guidance on proposal and technology development. He also served as the project manager for the Middeck Glovebox Project and Experiment Integration Engineer for Mir and Spacelab payloads.
Seabrook and his wife Lisa have two children, Sarah and Benjamin.
