Teledyne Technologies Promotes Dale A. Schnittjer
LOS ANGELES - January 7, 2002 - Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:TDY) today announced that it has promoted Dale A. Schnittjer to the position of vice president and controller, effective December 19, 2001. Schnittjer, 57, has been with Teledyne for more than 30 years, most recently as controller.
"Dale has held leadership positions in a number of Teledyne companies and has made important contributions to the success of the company over the past three decades," said Robert Mehrabian, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Teledyne Technologies. "He has an excellent track record and this promotion is in recognition of the important role he plays in the management of the company."
Schnittjer joined Teledyne Continental Motors in 1971 and spent sixteen years, becoming vice president of finance/controller in 1978. He spent six years at Teledyne Electronics where he served as executive vice president. Following that, he held the posts of vice president of finance and administration at Teledyne Electronic Systems, vice president of finance at Teledyne Specialty Equipment, and vice president of finance at Wah Chang. Schnittjer also was a financial executive at Allegheny Teledyne Aerospace and Electronics Segment before being appointed controller of Teledyne Technologies in 1999.
